The Glacier Bottle Opener

This project is inspired by north Atlantic glaciers and the animals that inhabit those places. With consideration to the form of human fingers and how objects are gripped, a functional and aesthetically pleasing product was created. Clay was used to produce several mock-ups and to gain a better understanding of the feel of the potential product. The process revealed potential issues with the design. Soon thereafter, a refined concept was chosen to move forward with.
